About Safe Plate Consulting

Hi, I’m Cassandra, founder of Safe Plate Consulting.
With over 16 years in the food service industry, I bring a practical, operations-first approach to food safety and compliance. My career has taken me from high-volume kitchens to executive leadership, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges operators face every day.

I spent several years as an Executive Chef within a casino environment, where I helped open new restaurants and large-scale facilities from the ground up. Working in complex, highly regulated operations shaped my focus on building systems that are not only compliant, but realistic and sustainable for teams to follow.

For the past five years, I’ve been a certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor, helping managers meet Person in Charge requirements and strengthen their understanding of food safety fundamentals.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with multiple properties to improve health department compliance, inspection readiness, and successful reinspections. I founded Safe Plate Consulting to provide operators with clear guidance, practical solutions, and the confidence that their operation is set up to succeed.

My goal is simple:
help you reduce risk, pass inspections, and build systems that work in the real world — not just on paper.
